  7. I usually have 2-3 intarsia projects started and at various stages, along with several pens and other turnings ready to go, besides other scrolling projects. And now I also have the lowboy trailer to mey semi in progress. And just finished building a porch swing. I try to keep several things layed out or ready to work on in case I get bored or tired of one project. It helps to keep me motivated in the shop.
  8. I sit while scrolling. My saw is elevated in the rear as well. Also got to have music playing, I listen to rock and country, mostly the older stuff.
  9. I have always been into woodworking. My brother in law let me borrow his old Dremel scroll saw. It was a real pain to use needed an allen wrench to change blades in the blade holders(not attached to saw). I didn't do alot of inside cuts when I first started. I almost got turned off to scrolling because of that saw. I saw cuttings a friend had that were cut on a scroll saw, that really interested me so I bought my own better saw. A Ryobi it was better but not by much, atleast the blade change was easy. It got me hooked. A few scroll saws later I now have the Dewalt. The scroll saw is my most used tool. I use it on almost everything I make, even for some of my pens. I am really glad I didn't give up after the first saw, I enjoy scrolling and making things. My name is Clayton and I AM addicted to SCROLLING.
  10. I use CA glue alot. if I want or need somthing dried fast I use it. I really haven't had problems with the CA holding. i use it for glueing in my tubes and finish on all my pens. the Kenworth I just finished is almost entirely glued with CA glue, that way I didn't have to wait for all the pieces to dry I could just keep moving. For regular wood glue I now use tight bond 3
