I have a few shelves "racks " on the one side of my shop, above my scroll saw that stores most of my wood. there is also some stacked on th lower shelf of my scrolling workbench and still more stood up at the end the bench. Where ever I can put it moreless, but I try to keep it laying flat, but some its just not possible.

  9. It will also kill chickens or so claims an Amish wood working friend. He has a set up to separate walnut shavings and sawdust from all the other woods because it killed all his chickens one time. Not sure what it might do to squirrels, birds or pets. DW The cabinet/ mill shop I buy my wood from saves all their chips/ dust for a farmer, but can't mix in walnut with it. It will kill a horse, or seriuosly hurt them.

  14. my shop is also 10x12. with my window unit I try to check and clean the filter at least once a week. If I'm doing lots of sanding, like when working on intarsia I do it daily.

  18. yes I have a small window unit in mine. It don't keep it cold, but makes it comfortable to work in the shop. Mainly takes out the humidity, which is a big help. I also have a fan helping circulate the air a bit. I usually only run it when I know I'm going to be working out there.
