  6. i'm going to use a piece of spalted curly maple stock, what do you guys suggest i use for the frame? something dark? wish i had time to allow some of my mulberry to age in the sun. im going to try and get this shipped out 2morrow if i can! mulberry when freshly cut is a bright yellow but as it ages it turns from yellow to reddish brown to reddish brown gray. i should take some pics of the 3 stages i have in turning stock.

  20. hey guys and welcome to forum i havent been on the forums much lately but its good to be back been really busy trying to stay up with RL anyway i took the time to do a quick search for the basics in the uk area Pinned blades Pinless blades wow you guys are kinda short on suppliers over there making blades expensive source for ply of all kinds Here Edens another source for hardwoods softwoods and ply Here Latham timber ltd Online retailer Online timber sales UK for other basic tools i like to have on hand is a bit of furniture grade wax, a 6" random orbital sander(ROS for short), assortment of 6" sanding disks from 32 to 600 grits, assortment of sanding mops, spray adhesive i get mine at walmart, elmers brand, contact paper works really good for applying patterns to, a small set of needle files, a small pick comes in handy to remove smaller pieces from your project
  21. I would have to agree with Travis #3 and #5 are what I use most.
  22. leds are pretty easy to wire up. main thing you need to be aware of is the amps and small resister will take care of that. you could get the leds off of ebay just watch out for the buyers from tiawan or hong kong there pretty cheap i bought 100 blue leds(8000 lumens) for around 10 bucks with shipping
  23. I'm like Tazman take it down to 1/4", but i've planed down to 1/8" thou. was not very good quality lumber either
  24. great job Vector that would look really cool as an Intarsia project
