  3. well had a bit of ply in the shed ,spent 2 days putting the patter together (A4) so wanted to see if the pattern would go together as i just resized it on my computer wooked realy well ...see what you think first dry fit---------------Brian

Roly not to bothered were the clock goes, the fun is in the cutting and putting it together . it will go with the rest of my work in the loft ,don't sell but will give stuff to family and friends (hence not many friends plus family dont want them its my hobby )--------------Brian--------------------- Ps not to many people have room for the big clocks

  9. Thanks everyone yes a few fine cuts last time I cut it it was on 1in fist platter
  10. well did this cutting on a large board a few years ago so have tried it in 6mm ply some delicate cuts see what you think-------------Brian
  11. had a good day so went into the shed and this is what came out patterns by S Good---------Brian
  12. I only ever use spirals and use the sander and torch on the back of my work ,even used the touch all over and lightly sand it leaving part of the burning on pic looks good depending on pic (tried flat blades but they don't like me so I stay with spirels --------Brian
  13. Think it will be the table first ,as the clock is about 5ft tall

As you all know i like clocks but running out of patterns for big clocks trying to get patterns from over the water costs a arm and leg (the last one i got cost about $90 postage cost more than the patterns ) if only they would do patterns in pdf files then down load them . so if anyone knows were to get them let me know, thank you all ..---Brian ps this is now waiting to go to the clic Sargent charity house at the sick kids hospital in Edinburgh ( clock has now been finished and is packed up for when they want it)

  18. well i keep going back to it added another floor now stands 5ft 6ins still a few bits to do no finish as yet (no rush .. see what you think-------------Brian

    well getting there just the basement to do but waiting for more wood for the floors then it is the fun of putting it all together and finding some were to put it ---see what you think so far----------------------Brian

  22. well got started with the clock its been in the to do bin for about 3 years this is how far i have got done plus i have done the big base which didnt come out on camera , didt know until after putting it away------Brian
  23. nice clock bet it was a joy to do ? next clock for you is the Dome , got mine all cut out now it is like a big jigsaw but fun to do-Brian

  25. well wife got the frame and beads together for Kieran,s beads of courage , every bead is part of a procedure and milestone of his treatment for cancer.he is in remission now but still getting treatment for side effects of the cancer treatment-------------------Brian
