  1. That is a super looking cutting. Can't go wrong with a pattern from Charlie. Hope it is not your last for a while but enjoy whatever you will be doing. Hope to see you back here in the future. jim penquin
  2. Had some request for WW II aviation cuttings a few times so I did these both and hope they will go well. Patterns are by Scrollpter and Neptun and I thank then both for the great patterns. Since I am in Southern Calif where a lot of these aircraft were built I can understand the interest. jim penquin

  4. What a great display of both your pattern work and cutting ability. You should sell out in no time. They all look great. Have a great show and sell a lot, look forward to hearing how you did. Thanks for showing them to us. jim penquin
  5. Been backing up on posting photo's so look out. Here are some of the sayings that I asked for and others that I liked a lot. They are all done in 1/2 inch oak some are 5 inch wide others 3 inch wide. The oak is scrap from a fellow who makes oak thresholds for this firm and these are left overs or pieces to short. They are beveled on the top and bottom and there is about few inch of flat space in the center. Thanks to all who shared their patterns and help me with these. jim penquin

  16. Wanted to do some other, not famous, western people. Fish did both patterns for me and they are outstanding. The one is Chief Joseph White Bull. It is believed he is the one who shot General Custer at Little Big Horn. I think that is interesting. How did we find that out? The other fellow is Bill Picket, a black cowboy who was a extreme famous rodeo performer. He is responsible for drawing thousands of fans to the sport. Just some unknown stuff about the old west. Hope you all like them. jim penquin
