    Meet Mr. & Mrs. frosty.....something I dreamed up this morning....Mr. is 4ft & Mrs. is 42". made from a 8ft 1x6.....parts were made from scrap wood, Mrs. glasses were made from soft steel wire. Comments are always welcomed. Ty. God Bless Dan

    Fold in blueberries last then pour into loaf pans….you can add chopped walnuts in mixer….after I pour into pans, I sprinkle some brown sugar and a few more nuts on top

    finished the tablet holder this morning that I started a few days ago, supposed to resemble an older church pulpit that they wanted......this was the bible verse I got today on my phone.......stained "Red Oak" with 2 coats of polyurethane.......hope they like it

    I've been on a pickling spree lately.....here's my latest....enjoy Pickled Brussel sprouts ......3 pint jars/lids 1-1/2lbs Brussel sprouts (trimmed & halved) 3 cloves of garlic (divided) 3 tsp mustard seeds (divided) 3 tsp black peppercorns (divided) 3 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes (divided) Brine 3 cups apple cider vinegar 2 cups water 3 tbls of canning/pickling salt

    After pickling some fresh radishes, I decided to pickle some red onions, I hope to try them on some burgers or tacos

    24hrs later, I sampled a couple, no heat but very tasty…..pickle consistency, I’m going to add some red pepper flakes to up the heat a little……should be great on a sandwich or burger…..overall I’m pleased

    Had enough fresh radishes out of the garden to make a jar of pickled radishes…..will test in a couple days…. Plan on using these on burgers, tacos, salads etc. They keep for 4 months in fridge they say 1 bunch of radishes 2 slices of jalapeño A few red onions 3 garlic cloves 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds A few peppercorns Brine 1 cup vinegar 1 cup water Tablespoon of salt Teaspoon of sugar

    Was tired of the way my shop had been since we built it 11yrs ago, had a swing out table which blocked a lot of space, also making impossible to get to the cupboards behind it….my solution was to get rid of the swing out table, redo the bench behind it, and make a flat/level 4x4 assembly table…..put hardboard on the 4x4 table this morning and on the workbench on other side of 10x24 shop…..I’m very pleased with the way it turned out….see before and after pics.

    I have spring fever ......so I made a Sunflower welcome sign 5-1/2ft Tall, made from 2X lumber, so it's heavy and won't blow over very easy, stained dark walnut, painted cut out white letters Comments always make me feel good God Bless Dan

    Just finished this Sasquatch clock for a good friend/co-worker (He's originally from upper Michigan)......he's a Sasquatch & Star Wars fan.....hope he likes it. Trying to keep things square on this irregular shaped live edge piece of wood was a challenge. It took a lot of sanding too. It’s 2-1/4” thick….. I got a 4ft slab from a local Amish sawmill…..it’s been drying for 2 yrs in my shop. It's not for everyone I know, me included.

    My daughter's boyfriend bowled his 3rd 300 game last night, I thought I would make him a gift so he never forgets......so I went to the drawing board this morning and this is what I dreamed up......21" T.....used my DW to cut the bowling pin out(3/4" select pine).....vinyl graphics.....pendulum clock from Amazon.....Hope he likes it....I'm pleased with it Carter Hudson 300 Clock Video.mp4
