    The service station......another piece for my village this morning, this one was fun, just went with my thoughts along the way, I made patterns for the pump parts to cut out.

    Played around with angles, heights, door designs, window shapes & color this morning, it's my 1st village with scrap wood in the shop. It's not perfect & that's what it's supposed to be like. Actually cut the small window shapes with my DW. Comments always welcomed. God Bless Thank You

    They say when you get older, you build birdhouse.....well here's mine....a wren birdhouse......church themed.....1-1/8" hole....left a gap under the roof for ventilation.....side swings out for cleaning.....scrap 3/4" plywood......I cut the steeple with my DW

    Designed this simple but meaningful piece this morning......Jesus bearing the weight of the cross on the way to the crucifixion's...cut from standard pine.....stained early American & red mahogany....2 coats of gloss RO lacquer......comments always welcomed God Bless

    Spent a couple hours this morning designing my version of "The Tomb", with the 3 crosses of Calvary, made from 3/4" standard pine, just free-handed the pieces on some thin boards for templates, then traced the templates to the pines boards, then cut each piece out, then took each piece to the spindle sander and contoured the edge of each piece to give a carved look, stained red mahogany and early American, glued all 4 layers together to make it 3" thick and stand very solid.......comments always welcomed. This was a gift for my mom for Easter this year.

    The true meaning of Christmas....I made the figurine set a few years ago(Steve Good Pattern), but never had a nativity barn to go with it, so I went to the scrap wood pile and came up with this, all made from scrap wood except roof made from 1/8" ply. Sorry I haven't been scroll sawing much.
