  22. I've been working on this since Monday......I started by making a pattern on the computer (6-7hrs).......then drew up templates.........printed & cut them out from 1/4" ply, then these will be used for tracing to get repeatably when I make more . This is made from a single 3/4" 1x8, and 4ft of a 1x6.......I planed down some pine for the belt/buckle and cuff for the mitten, buttons were cut from this also then sliced in half, eyes were made from 1/4" ply......rest was all 3/4" material. A mop was used for the beard(new one), I bought a mop that folds in half, I then cut it at the fold for 1 beard, had to trim 4" or so of it. I used pocket hole joinery for some of the construction. Lantern was made also by me, just simple 3/4" lumber cut to size and brad nailed together, light candle was purchased at Hobby Lobby, I want to add a flicker bulb, but I couldn't find one locally. All hand painted then sanded for a more primitive look. Colors were Tomahawk Red, Antique white, & Pinwheel (Pink).......Glidden Premium brand Comments as always are appreciated.
