Just completed this farmhouse style computer desk with drawer.....drawer has inter-locking dividers in it, also installed drawer guides for smooth operation......I never had made a drawer before...made completely with 2x construction grade lumber.....I planed the 2x6 top boards down to 1.250" to get rid of rounded edge & to get them smooth for desk top... top is stained red mahogany with 4 coats of Minwax clear poly brushed on.....top is 62"L x 27.5" deep.......bottom is sprayed with 1 coat of premium Kilz primer & 1 coat of Glidden semi gloss white paint, with my Wagner Flexio 590 sprayer, if you are looking for a paint sprayer, this one sprayed the thick Kilz like water, highly recommend .....no scrolling on this one.....comments please as always

I upgraded my T8 fluorescent shop lights with new energy-efficient long lasting LED fixtures ...... these are supposed to last 50,000 hours, if I average six hours a day seven days a week in the shop, these will last me right at almost 23 years ...... I will be 76 years old that time ......so they should be the last lights I buy.....

I have never set up a booth anywhere......all of my pocket change comes from word of mouth mainly ....I make a couple hundred things a year that people ask me for......make them on my own time mainly......Fall/Christmas is the busiest time for me...... I am constantly coming up with new designs ......personalized stuff is best......works 4 me

Haven’t posted in quite some time..... had some time in the shop yesterday, I made this welcome sign for my front porch......created textured weathered boards from common pine....letters are 1/4” sanded ply.....1” upholstery tacks for the “bolts” look.....comments are always appreciated.....Thank You

1st order of crosses done for the nursing home where my cousin works ....they give 1 to each family when they lose a loved one.........standard pine board......burned with map gas torch....base is 3.5x3.5 with routed edge...cross is 8”T x 5.5”W.....last year they had 87 deaths......comments please...
