Hi Ray: Sounds to me like your drill bit is slipping in the chuck Measure your drill bit before you start drilling - then check it after you drilled through as far as you can You would think that if your bit is long enough it would go through, Fab4 Looks like Kevin and I posted at the same time and basically said the ame thing
