  1. Hi John: I agree with Jim and Len A darker background on the lighter one would make a world of difference Well done Fab4
  2. Hi Newfie If you really are planning on keeping it I would try to screw a piece, possibly two strips of hardwood from the back You could screw it along the outside edge Another team would definitely solve this problem as stated above............LOL Fab4

Hi Dick: Dan (dgman) said it best - go back to post # 3 Don't you ever ask us again for our opinion after SWMBO told you what she thought You trying to start a war???...............LOL.............just kidding!!! Good luck with your pesky daughter....lol As far as the craft show, I say "GO FOR IT" you may be pleasantly surprised You'll have to figure out what sells in your area - What sells here may not be as good as where you are. Looks like you're on the right track Fab4

  10. Hi Danny: All of my stands are made with 2x4's and have castors on them 2 locking wheels and 2 swivel Nothing fancy - screw the 2x4's together, add a piece of plywood, bolt your scroll saw to the plywood and voila - good to go - SCROLL SAW TABLE Table saw, planer, router, scroll saw, edge planer, a various wooden boxes for storage All on wheels I may expand these boxes and add drawers for more storage - WHY IS IT, WE NEVER HAVE ENOUGH STORAGE Makes clean up easy My scroll saw came with a stand so I bolted the stand onto a piece of plywood added castors and everything is "wheel it in and wheel it out" I have limited space so this works great for my situation Fab4

  21. Hi Thomas: Agree with all that's been said What I found when I first started was I had to adjust my position while I was cutting Try changing your position a bit - little to one side or the other - it may just help Keep at it, you'll get it Fab4

  23. Hi Danny: Having a back up never hurt especially if you do a lot of scrolling It comes down to personal choice and how much KA-CHING you have. Personally, I would avoid E-bay, Craig's list unless you happen to get someone nearby and you can have a look at it and try it This is something I would not buy blind and go by a complete strangers word You have some good advice so far, Good Luck and maybe we will see you DTR Fab4
