made this one about a month ago,but only got around too framing it,well actual 2 copies of it today,
i considered doing a stack cut but the wood was after warping a bit so i found doing individual cuttings would be better,pattern was made for me by frieda van dam......frieke,a big thanks goes out too her.

i realy do like making these name plaques,recently a person asked me too make one for them with one difference,they wanted it made oval in shape rather than rectangular...what do you think.

made this one about 20 years ago,for the inlaws,all i had then were hand tools,including a hand fretsaw,unfortunatly ive lost the pattern too it,if anyone knows someone who may have the pattern,please let me know,i would love too make one again,

originaly i made one of these for my local pub,and its proving rather popular,with the locals and tourists,anyway i was asked too make 3 of them this week,and here they are,

macroom is the name of the town im from here in ireland,and the saying in small lettering is somthing my mother youst too say too me when i was young,i thing there is actualy a song about it.
