made this one about a month ago,but only got around too framing it,well actual 2 copies of it today, i considered doing a stack cut but the wood was after warping a bit so i found doing individual cuttings would be better,pattern was made for me by frieda van dam......frieke,a big thanks goes out too her.

i used a yacht varnish for the finish,as i was told that the sign would be placed outdoors,and this would give it some protection against the elements

got requested too make this recently,main piece from 1/4 inch oak,backer from 3/4 inch marine ply.got the lettering from my rapidresizer programme.

hi all, i realy do like making these name plaques,recently a person asked me too make one for them with one difference,they wanted it made oval in shape rather than rectangular...what do you think. the pattern was made for me by keith fenton.

thanks all,unfortunatly all my searches have come too nothing when looking for this pattern ,this picture shows the panel without the fretted frame,i did another one with the fretted frame which i use as my profile picture

made this one about 20 years ago,for the inlaws,all i had then were hand tools,including a hand fretsaw,unfortunatly ive lost the pattern too it,if anyone knows someone who may have the pattern,please let me know,i would love too make one again,

made this one during the week,for my sister,her son has autism, it measures about 13 inchs square,cut from 1/4 inch ply with a 3/4 inch backer pattern was done for me by keith fenton,

that quote that i cut has been around for donkeys years as we say,there is even a song on you tube with the same title,hi bob im from cork,i source my wood as you were asking ,from a loacal cabinetmaker,and i also use wood from old furniture,which i find in skips,and also people give me.

originaly i made one of these for my local pub,and its proving rather popular,with the locals and tourists,anyway i was asked too make 3 of them this week,and here they are, made with ash,with a pine backer.

made these lately for a customer, macroom is the name of the town im from here in ireland,and the saying in small lettering is somthing my mother youst too say too me when i was young,i thing there is actualy a song about it. pattern was done for me by KEITH FENTON, bright one is ash,the other is beech,

made this name plaque as a gift too my brother for his 60th birthday,made with ash and mahogany, it contains the names of his kids, alos done this word art,made with 1 inch mahogany....
