  9. That looks very difficult to put back together!! Looks Great
  10. Mike, I also use Mikes blades. I have tried some olson blades but I really didnt care for them. I have never tried Pegasus blades yet. I actually feel scroll saw blades are just like cars. Some like Ford and some Chevrolets. Its all in ones taste in what they like.
  11. The one problem I see is the competitions price on the goods. When I looked up wooden puzzles there was not allot of entries but the prices were low in my opinion. I see the same problem with ebay too.
  12. Welcome to the Village Kieth!
  13. Holly Cow that was long time! I am not sure if I would last that long on a project. I think the most I spent on a single project was about 8 hrs. Then again most of my cuttings are puzzles. I dont so that many portrait cuts.
  14. NICE!!!!! You did a great job Christina
  15. I was looking at ESTY today and was wondering if anyone uses this site. I already have an ecommerce site but I was thinking of trying this out too.
  16. Great job Travis!
  17. Ben I have never found it at Lowes or Home Depot. I do find it at the craft stores like Michaels or A C Moore. As far as one coat, it all depends.....I will sometimes put a second one on. If i do I use super fine steel wool. I will ten wipe it down with a cheese cloth and blow it with air from the compressor before putting the second coat on.
  18. Bill that turned out really nice
  19. Christina thats what they make sanders for! too hide your mishaps
  20. Welcome to the Village Merlin.
  21. I have never used sand paper to sand the image. I would be afraid to damage the image. If you spray properly you should not have to sand it down imho.
  22. Dan, that looks great! How long did it take for you to cut?
  23. Welcome to the Village mate. Sounds like fun with your travel destinations.
  24. You lucky dog!
  25. Ben, All my puzzles are printed on Kodak paper with a hp ink jet printer. I use spray adhesive for now (I want to get a dry mount press soon) and use a triple thick glaze on top of the puzzle. I have never had any ink run using this method. The only time the ink runs on me is if my sweat drops down onto the picture before I seal it.
