I really can’t get over how quiet it is, I had to wear ear muffs with my old saw. I got the arm lifter from Www.papasworkshop.org

I finally saved enough to get a new scrollsaw and I went with the Dewalt 788. I love this scrollsaw but I had to buy an arm lifter for it and it works great!!!! My old craftsman was starting to show it’s age even though it was a great saw to me. Just the size difference alone is great.

my latest cuttings, first two were practice patterns from some free stencils and the last is from scrollsawartist that I bought the pattern for. its been a little while since I cut anything so I had to practice on something easy!!!!!

i had no idea about these templates/patterns until i saw papel picado on tv and started looking into it. some of the work they do is amazing and looks more difficult than scrollsaw cutting to me.

this is a halloween desk bowl i made for my wife. the pattern for the back is from scrollsaw magazine by Alison Tanner (it's a paper cutting pattern) the rest i kinda made up to go along with it hop you like it!!!!!
