  1. with some great inspiration from Phantom scroller's cell phone holder i had to try one for my wife's desk. basic design with some butterfly wings worked in as supports made out of my last few scraps of mesquite wood i have left--she loves it!!!! thanks Phantom for the idea!!!!!!

  4. Thanks a lot and I'll get a side view posted tomorrow, and Kevin I am not a shop teacher my field is actually diesel repair. But I grew up in my dad's garage and he did a lot of woodwork for the house.

  8. this is a small bowl i made from a pattern on inkscape out of scrap honey mahogany and maple glued together.

  11. Lay the piece on wax paper so it doesn't stick to your workbench. I usually use a glue called goop for just about everything.

  15. this is for you amazingkevin!!! these are the picture of the one car garage that i call my woodshop. it being a garage it still gets cluttered with other stuff the wife doesn't want in the house anymore. being so small i have to plan what i'm going to use because i have to move two things to get one out and so on

    well this started out as a jewelry box with 2 heart shaped drawers but the wife (and her sister) said they liked it as an art piece instead with no inserts. it's made from a 2" piece of mesquite finished with teak oil (it was the only oil i had) hope you like it.
