For me it can be on every day of the week, but could you think at the people from other countrys? I think when i finished working, most of you just come out of bed( in America) and i think thats why i almost never see someone else online , isn't it? So maybe on a sunday so whe can chat with everybody ( there must be a time of the day nobody sleeps?) Have a funny day Frieke

Hello Greasemonkey, I'm sorry to hear all the storys of your back pains. I know what that means cause i have a bad back to, but not so bad anymore that i have to stay in bed. Hope that you feel better today. I love the rockers you make, and hope that you can sell them quiqly. The prices you asking are real low, when in Belgium you want to buy such rockers handmade, the are more expensive. But here you can't find much stuff like that believe me. Only in very expensive shops, maybe in a guild of woodworkers, but there's only one i believe. Wish you goo luck frieke

Thanks for all the answers. I hope I can make a lot of them so I can share my pictures with you all. It might give you ideas. Yesterday evening i was following the 7th lesson of inkscape, and i also have done all the lessons of gimp, that was great fun! I'll becom a designer for scrollsaw patterns , but first a lot of practice. I have a little wacom so it's easy to use. Thanks Travis for those lessons! Greetz Frieke

Hello everyone, I have a question to ask. I have a lot of books and magazines(crafts) where are many patterns in it for scrolling. The books are not specific for scrolling, but they are for crafts, like for the hollydays, miniature houses and dollhouses( thats a great passion of me to make them). May I put the patterns here on the forum to share with you? Mostly there are no names on it, it's for the hobby and free to buy. Who can give me advice? Greetz Frieke

Hello Christina, I just put the kids in bed, after homework, good dinner, spend time together. Today it's just one month that I lost my oldest brother, so it was a bit a sad day During the day i cleaned up my pc. Everything is in folders now, nice and clear, so I can find all my patterns immediately. I'm scrolling on a little chandelier for 6 waxinecandles , almost done, when i put it together I'll make already pictures of it before painting. Also drawing a big chandelier, but i'm still not happy with the results so i keep on drawing. i promised my oldest daughter to learn her to scroll, but with a handsaw for scrolling(sorry for my english); she is 10 years old and just like me very creative, the younghest one want to scroll to but then i have to buy first a lot of sawblades i think, she is 8. So this weekend will be stressy . For now, i'll spend a few hours on my pc, following the 7th lesson inkscape and then try to use it(oh yeah) This was about my day, how was yours? friendly greetings Frieke -
Hello everyone, Thanks for welcoming me!! I'm proud to be on a forum like this I made my first album and put a photo in it of a work i'm carving and cutting. It's finished now, but those pictures are on my other pc, i'm working on my 10" mini notebook now , with a 22" external screen . I have to put the photo's on a usb stick because I can't put a cdrom in this notebook. Working on it! I would like to put a picture of me near my name, but that does't work I think he is to big. There is one in my picasa webalbum but I don't know how i can find the url to my album Hope I can send soon lot's of photo's to share my work with all of you Have a nice day Greetz Frieke

hello Everyone, I'm very happy to find this place, it looks like the place to be, isn't it? I'm scrolling about 15 years, but i've got a brand new hegner scrolling saw from my boyfriend, i know, i am a very lucky girl. The problem is that my english is'nt very good, so excuse me when i write mistakes. I keep on learning, i love scrolling and my next plan is to make a very beatiful chandelier. I'm looking for some patterns or ideas, i'm drawing and design it, but any help is always welcome! Now i go look around here , found out how i can post photo's and how i can place my photo near my name. friendly greatings Frieke
