  1. You did a great job on the cutting! Beautiful work, thanks for sharing the photo.
  2. 19 years ago I started with a Ferm scrollsaw, very cheap and noisy... Because of the noise i didn't saw a lot and i bought a Proxon (in Belgium there wasn't much choise.) It has variable speed and quick blade change. Last year I got a Hegner 2SE variable speed from my friend, and that is for me the best saw ever! If I had the money before I was started with a good saw. In that time there was no internet or forums, but in the craft books there were patterns to make everything yourself. Now in the most craftmagazines they tell you have to buy everything in a craftstore and then they tell you how to assemble it! And what I would do when I could restart? Keeping all the patterns I ever drawed. Mostly I made things for others so I didn't think about to keep them. Only the last few years I did. In Belgium Dremel did stop to sell scrollsaws, Proxon you can find if you search good and Hegner in a few shops. Here and there you can buy some of those cheap scrollsaws, so you're lucky guys there in USA and Canada. I even tried to order a Dewalt by a store and I can't get it.
  3. Hi Paul, I know it will look better painted but filled up with books it will be very colorfull too Well google translated it in biscuits and I tought it couldn't be right It was the first time i worked with a lamello machine, and it is easy to work with, i'll use it again( have to make a desk for my oldest daughter and a table for my scrollsaw)
  4. Hi, I forgot these pics were in my camera. I made these for christmas decoration. The planter was ugly and i painted it in bronze and with the green and the lamps it was a nice piece.
  5. Today I finished my big bookcase, made in mdf 18mm. I'm not gonna paint it for now, maybe next year or so when whe paint the corridor. I still have to remove the pencil with a gum and fill up the holes of the screws. I used the lamello machine to put it all together with cookies(hope google translate it right). And then I finally can put all my books in it. The bookcase is 3.10m wide and 1.22m high. I only have books of woodworking and craftworks, and lots off magazines. Hope the bookcase is big enough Enjoy the pics.
  6. and more pics here, i couldn't put them together in one post This are the finished pieces!
  7. Hi all of you, Me and my friend made a desk and a cabinet for someone. They are made in oak (21mm). All the corners are sawed on 45° The lady was very happy with it . We finished them with Woca masteroil white, after cleaning up the oil the oak stay natural look, here and ther you can see a little bit the white. Because of the cold we made them in the garage instead of using the big shop. So now there was sawdust all over in the house, but the most is already cleaned up. I got a new belt sander and after the works I have to search him al well as my hegner

  25. Hi Travis, Sorry, i didn't know they came from a book . I would like to buy the book, but do they send it to Belgium? Is there a ISDN code on that book, so i can order it in a Belgian bookstore. I also would love to have the magazines of scrollsaw woodworking, but it's only for the USA. Frieke
