  12. great scrolling skills here Doc,It turned out just right .Shes going to rag to everyone that come to her house ,here's my baby!
  13. All excellent views on the hazards of dust particles. Great shop set ups too. I do know certain woods cause skin.eye, nose and breathing problems so working with those woods do the best you can containing them.Travis has a list in the village somewhere telling which woods are the hazards ones.It would be well worth your while to look at it.I think it's in the more section on top of this page.
  14. 24/7
  15. Great Travis I love the movie every little bit helps!
  16. DW everytime I see your boxes I cringe at not being able to do one. I was a handyman tradesman for over thirty years and when it comes to making something square ,that's not my forte, not even close .I just made a harmonica box and can't get thing out guess the biggest problem is not having a table saw, big or small. your ribbons make me bite my teeth at their beauty. I've got to learn this process before Christmas. They really are a treasured gift to give some one. all the gold plating you add to them does so much to the "got to have in me".Someday you'll rub off on me and I hope it's soon. 4 months before Christmas
  17. you got me on this one! Possibly choice and types of blades including spirals of blades ,blade care do's and don'ts with blades and all the things that you can say about blades, don't touch the ends of them .Enlarging patterns, finding patterns ,adhering patterns ,removing patterns ,backing up with scrap wood before drilling, correct teeth per thickness of wood ,blades , removing patterns .going only as close to another cut out on the pattern as you skills are capable of, doing the most critical spots first so if you mess up starting over won't be a great loss , machine speed ,pushing and pulling speeds ,proper lighting ,foot control, machine angle for best viewing of cutting process , color of patterns for ease of seeing where the blade is (Lt. gray.)fate of inhaling dust, dust collection ,sitting or standing scrolling, that's a start ! but you knew all this to talk about anyway . This sounds like a fun thing to talk about as with your experience no question goes un answered!
  18. this is great I have been wanting to do something for a beautician, her name is desiray nnot sure on the speling but this will perfect for here ,THANKS
  19. This is one of the best things I learned here in the village. After my first project that looked like swiss cheese (a lot of holes 500). Any thing else was a piece of cake to do.That got me over the fear of doing a huge project.
  20. #5 seem to be the work horse for scrolling although I use all when i run out of the ones I like.I never notice the pulling up of the wood with the reverse blades ,Guess i'm so used to using them and rave at the minimal sanding benefits on both side of the wood using them.
  21. Have you used the shop yet it is so clean, lol glad you are able to get it all .I really appreciate the call on the dust deputy.can't wait to get one.
