Ah yes the same thing just about happened to me .I was useing my hand held electric planer and found that if i slide my finger under the planer it would act as a perfect guide for doing the edge of a door.i don't know what happend but my little finger got sucked in the blades and jamed the machine.I never bleed and barely ripped the skin.i still see the marks on my finger but will never do that again.Yes i'm a bone head sometimes!
Did'nt do much as the heat here in florida is killer. also i can't find my glasses either to comment on the forum tonight.so here's what i did todaythere's 2 more items but i forgot to photograph them ,tomorrows another day, lol.
Beautyful frame you've made.i'd use the saw table to rip slots in the insides of the frame to hold glass or plastic and drill pin holes to hold the frames together with small pins or similar items (finish nails) as one way of doing it.
Sounds like you found the problem yourself,Good for you!Things have a way of coming out in the open for you .sometimes it's the little things that get over looked that cause the biggest problems.i'm sure this will help many that read this post and thank you for finding the solution!
My belt sander is a harbor freight 6" x 36" I found out the hard way it has cheap plastic rollers and if you teave the tension on the rollers get egg shaped and cause a lot of vibration, also the belt tension broke so I just wedge a piece of wood I the right place and it still works good.
