  17. I laughed when i seen it in the big box store.I had expected so much more than a upside down jig saw.
  18. I've pulled my hair many times trying to find something wrong with the dw788.Problem is the movements are so miniscule that it's tough to see where the problem is.a 1/16th " play on the front end means an 1/8" play in the back. This is my second new dw788 and i love them to death but they are oh so touchy.I've had the bottom blade holder assemble fall off.the bolt that goes thru the connecting rod nut fall off.As long as the speed stays on 5 or below there's no problem, but who wants to cut slow.Wish i couls set you straight but can't.

  22. Try the xl blades from mikes work shop, they go straight .Im sure your not useing the blades upside down per chance.teeth cut on the downward cut, just a quick thought.Hardwoods are tough to cut and control.Keep the blades over tight too.,guitar string tight! On the deltas i've had the blade loosens up right after you start it up so check often the tension.Just little tips to think about allthough they may not be your particular problem.

  25. Myself cut loads of 3/4" plywood and some with mica on them.I know thats tough cutting but what other choice do i have.I'm fast and furious wide open on the dewalt but it won't hold up.I've way to many things to cut in a day and if i can't cut wide open i feeli'm wasteing lots of time.I enjoy produceing quality pieces immensley.I'm not happy about the tiny pencil lead sized pivot points in any of the scroll saw i've used.Too small and they are like a knife against each other and wear out too quickly.I really love the dw788 but it needs refineing.
