Nice project ,I tryied cutting ash 1" thick and it took forever to cut.My hat is off to you for sticking it out to the end with slow cutting!

Cool right after i did this i took the garbage to the dumpster and there was a book in there called"refinishing and finishing wood" by black an decker

I've spray lued vey thin metal between two pieces of wood to keep the edges straight and not wrinkled.And then acetone & mineral spirits mix to separate it.

If you are talking about the dust port located underneath the table. Yes I have, it came on my EX21. The plastic diaphragm did not last very long. I have since removed it and now have a large scope that is mounted to the frame and connected to my dust collector via a 4" hose. My dust collection method is much better. I also use a vacuum hose attached to the under side of the upper arm to remove dust that accumulates on top of the project.

It's a cheap rough on both sides plywood .I can't get to most of my wood is another reason i'm not producing.Thanks Len!!!

I forgot all about doing this one and found the pattern today 3/4" 4ply plywood cut with a # 3 scroll reverse blade.I sanded it real good and put oak stain on but didn't like the look so I'll paint it white tomorrow

I can't get a set routine going .doctor visits mess it up and going to pick up my mail messes things up always something to put the brakes on scrollingThanks Bobby!

I'm so sorry i don't have an aggressive blade other wise you may have to find a different title for me .I'd cut a truck load of these but don't want to waste time doing them slow when i can do them fast.I have cut some fast and with what blade i'm not sure as i've been going thru blades i got that are not in packages .These came with saws i bought .So there is a blade that compliments my cutting i just have to keep looking and listening here.Thanks AL!!!#1

thanks len,down time is not good for me ,i need to stay with the program to stay loose and agile cutting .I should do some curls before i start .

I bought the case and wanted to have one to stop my sleeping so much at the saw and where ever.I have a coffee pot now but have yet to plug it in.I'd like to try pylon or bustello coffee's. No i just love to scroll.I like high detail quick projects.Now after I'm acclimated to cutting the bird houses it's just routine as goes fast less than a minute to cut one but i want to knock that time in half to fell productive.I can and will if i can find a hungry blade.thanks friend1

Ralph ,i'm so glad you posted what your saying .I got it now!Yes yours are fabulous! I glued the birds on already and i think painting them while they are on the house says the trouble of handling them till they dry,Boy do i have the stains clears,polys ,of every color from yard sales No two will be alike.I really wanted to make tons of these as i like scrolling but finding the right blade yet to do so is troubling me.The wood i'm using is 2"x4"white wood short pieces i had left over from making shelves here.I don't throw away much especially if i payed for it.I'm next time going to go thru the white wood 2x4 pile at the big box store and get the very light ones .I think they will speed up cutting time too.Thanks for the pictures.

thanks again Andrew,I'm trying to get away from names.i've done lots of intarsias,puzzles,etc and need to do them again.
