    Dan turned me on to "ancestory" font.I fell in love with it at first sight.I wanted to get away from printed names and on to fancy script names .More work but looks lots nicer.Thanks Clem!

    I can experiment now with my woods .This stand was a frame for a cabinet door and the inside part slide into the outside.i turned it around ,cut some walnut to fit in the slot and it accented it greatly.One of your tricks if i remember!

    whoa! each of us has different interests in scrolling ,no one of use is the best in all there is to offer in scrolling.for intarsia there are quite a few professionals here in the club which are scrollers too but excel more in there preferred taste of scrolling.Lots here are into puzzles etc .Maybe what you need is to go to a seminar where you have the chance to try different aspects of scrolling and see what you want to excel in.wish i could help more but to narrow your question down that would involve to many things to consider.

    Good for you! I i know the good feeling of recognition,One of my paintings 8" tall almost was displayed on the main drag in town but the lady decided she wanted it inside her store instead.

    It's my understanding that hard woods especially cedar are great for lawns as a mulch spread over the top.I also heard that particle board ,plywood,mfd,pressed wood all have way to much glue in them and are not good for living things.I don't think anything will grow covered in this mix,so maybe as a weed retardant around trees it could be helpfull?
