Pull up a chair,pour some coffee and make lots of friends here daily.Plenty of action packed fun and games here with a learning curve at your leisure that's hard to beat with our help.Problems with blades breaking ,can't cut a straight line,hard to follow the lines ,We can save you hours of frustration with many correct answers for you to chose from.You'll really like getting a foot pedal on off switch for your saw to keep you happily scrolling with less wasted time making unnecessary repetitive moves.And for your ever increasingly quest for knowledge you can go back in time in each and every forums by clicking on the page numbers at the bottom of each page all the way back to 2009 if you like with Tips and tricks just to help you all we can to be the best you can be in the shortest time frame.You might want to think about getting a back up saw as down time is not happy time once you get going making projects after the scroll saw bug bites you.I've made thousands and thousands of projects and wore out over a dozen scroll saws.And not being able to scroll is like fish out of water.I'm content as a bird with a french fry scrolling.I'm a little nervous at how well you acclimated yourself to scrolling already .Your lettering skills are second to none and it looks like i'll be playing second fiddle in no time with your lettering skills .Thanks for joining my new friend and Merry Christmas to you and yours!

I can't give you an answer from experience , but i think the inlay piece should be very thin as compared to the rest of the wood,hence the main body of the key chain,Just my uneducated guess. As far as direction cutting i notice that I'm spinning counter clock wise in my cuttings, not sure why but when i read magazines i go from the back of the book to the front ,no rhyme or reason why.Merry Christmas my friend! :santa: :santa: :santa:

I'll be changing my blade assortment next time with the valued info you for provided us here,Thank you for your time .I'm sure metal cutting blades of choice will be in the next synopsis. Hopefully.I need to get to my tool box full of blades and try some of the ones you've mentioned here,The ultra reverse has me thinking that could be my new blade of choice.One thing i so dearly love about SSV, is that if you crave scrolling knowedge this is the place to hang your hat! :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

I'll butt in your note to Dgman and add li b a little if you don't mind.this Christmas was different for me .My friend asked for me to fellow ship at his gas station with him, so i did.Only a hand full of customers arrived for fuel.Lol i like long storys now and then .Good of you to honor Susan's wish With some leaves that don't need raking,honey do list!.I'll bet they sure brightened up the festive season inside your cosy home.Your scrolling tastes in projects you do are very well received visually always.Pictures would please me to see just that too.A ten piece bird leaf puzzle and glue makes time well spent on the few remaining days of the year.The wife should get first pick of your work as a professional courtesy of marriage,lol When the wife's happy everybody's happy!Looks like we see eye to eye on things that will get cut or not.Keep up the great work larry.Merry Christmas my friend

I notice different scrollers not being around but we all have different sceduales ,Welcome back valued scroller member!

It's the center boltt that wears out on my dw788's and the bolts even break in half and not fall out.That's the problem with the oriental saws i had,jerking,snatching!
