    My dw type 1 took lots of abuse from me I decided to re grease all the bearings i could except 2 with Valvoline synthetic grease.2 bearings needed to be pressed out so i didn't want to be with out a saw so i left them alone .The saw was very sloppy before the grease job ,now over a year later it's still going strong and pulling blade tension at 1.5 to 2 consistently .Repack the bears isn't hard and well worth the benefits Go for the do it your self job and buy grosses of blades with the money you save!Plenty of u-tube videos on the dw 788 break down available! Just "Google"what you want to know!

    It's cheaper to sand the blades and run a piece of business card squeezed in between the clamps soaked with thinner to get the oil off.I use #150 grit also.

    I see your using the first saw i ever had an ss250 delta !Whoa the good times i had on that machine and woke up plenty of times with it still threaded in the project motor on an no accidents .That got to be the best cut aromatic cedar ornaments I've seen .I'd hate to see what you could do on a good day, wow !Keep them coming!

    a 2.5 silhouette of Africa with the county's,another 3 'anhk, and a female curvy torso she can display waste bands homemade for sale on.and then the pastor plaque i made i finished wood burning the groove my electric wood chisel made for me that were wood burned with a 25 watt solder iron from the big box store. She wants the plaque plain.

    Carl, Now that you've been thru the mill you'll have plenty of planks to make smaller.I'm getting close to the end over here ,gaining weight daily ,stress from losing my place and tools soon,Blood pressure pills their giving me can cause sudden heart attack, same deal for the pills their giving me for a new one tendentious of the left hand.noway i can open a door knob.Your ailments were real serious ,life threatening one's .Your very lucky to have beat the odd's.Glasd to have you back,i knew there were a few missing here.Well your shop stayed dustless as always.Lots of nerw members loaded with great talent now,Welcome back friend! ;) ;) ;)

    They look great if you have a big wall on your house shining the shadows on the wall with the light behind them.I finally found my Dewalt jig saw. Its been right in front of me but on a box the same color and it blended in so good i missed findiong it for over a year.Another quality job you did Jim!!!!!

    I like it it's just that it gets all over me and the customers request not to put in on their stuff for the same reason.but tell them i lock it on with clear coat.But still they say it's for teens,oh well,the customers always right! :lol: :lol: :lol: :cool:
