    Nice and interesting but i like spray and glue removal method of 3 minutes rather than 20 minutes just to put the picture on and them more time to remove.

    I traded some of my practice intarsias for a type one .I wore it out and gave it to my friend .He's still using it.My second one i paid $180.00 for and wore that one out too but re greased everything with Valvoline synthetic grease and it's tight as a drum still. My third dw788 is slightly used a type 2 sitting on the shelve since i bought it for a back up .I bought that one 50 miles away for $250,,I'm sold on dw788's.!

    #77 is a very good permanent glue,but not acceptable for gluing patterns down ,too strong.Try medium or light tack glues or repositional glues.

    Welcome friend, My computer died put it's cooking again, I've cut three foot long straight lines in 3/4" white wood with a spiral no problem .I used my finger as a fence guide ,moved slow and steady ,easy as pie!Spirals cut way slower than flat blades and need to be very tight in the holders ,a high ping sound when plucked.Check often when cutting as pushing to fast will loosen them up and break on you .You'll acquire a feel for them just keep at it.Very taunt and move slow ,you'll do fine!Thanks for joining .Hope your going to be a regular here!
