  1. I think the old addage "He who dies with the most tools -- wins" is in the back of most of our minds. How ever, I'm cheep and try to make as much as I can. I'm in the middle of making my own thickness sander.
  2. Things sell for different amounts from 1 part of the country to another. Just wondering how much something like that sells for in your area.
  3. I too am doing my first show in Nov and as it's billed as a "Christmas Craft Bazzar" most of what I'll be taking will be ornaments and Christmas table dec like nativity scenes and trivits.

  16. I usually run at a slower medium speed for comfort and to cut down on vibration.

  18. Started cutting ornaments earlier this week. Also working on a jewelry box for my daughter.
  19. I watch for old funiture all the time. Someone remodeled their bathroom a few yr back and through out their old cabinets. My shop storage cabinets now. A few months ago found a broken chesterdrawers made from formica covered mdf. Made great extension wings for my table saw.

  21. I know what you are going through as my heart surgery was May 24th and the Dr just cleared me for light work last week. Still no heavy lifting or using the router but can use my scroll saw.
  22. Thanks for the encouragement. I was so PO'd yesterday that all I could think of was throwing it in the trash. Today I'm going to try to salvage it.
  23. 2 days of cutting and sanding on my first bowl and when I put it in the bowl vise to clamp the bottom to the sides I used to much pressure and it snapped on both ends.
  24. Had one for over a year and don't know how I got along with out it before my wife bought it for me for my birthday.
