  1. I've had mine from HF for over a year. Use it all the time. Well worth the price.
  2. I have a site on Etsy, Artfire and Zibbet. Make a sale every now and then but don't make enough to quit my day job. Oh wait, I'm retired and have already quit my day job. Working on a special order for an Etsy customer now. Will post pic when completed. I do it mostly for fun not to make money.
  3. I haven't had one re-built but bought my DeWalt from factory rebuilt for almost half the cost of a new one with a new warrenty and it has run like a champ for over 3 yrs.

  5. I wish I could have a project to work on this weekend but all I can do is look a the beautiful work you all do. Had an electronic engine tuneup (i.e. pacemaker)this past week and the doc wont let me do any work for 6 weeks.
  6. My shop is air conditioned. What ever the temp outside it the same inside. HeHe.

  9. Blades are a personal preferance you will develop after trying several types. I use more 0/2 then any other size and I like crown tooth.
  10. Had not thought of attaching it that way. Great idea. I've been using double back tape. Like your way better, easier to put on and take off.

  13. I just bought my first piece of purpleheart last wee and was glad to see this post before I started cutting otherwise I would have got full out on the speed. Thanks for the tips.
  14. It would depend on if you are standing or sitting. I sit on a stool and have the back up higher by using a 2 x 4. Try several hights and find the one that is most comfortable to you.
  15. Self lubricating. I always bottom feed and I use a block of wood to hold arm up.
  16. Have mine set up simular only I added a sheet metal ac vent. Works great.

  22. What type of water based clear finish? I hate the smell of laquer.
  23. I use plexiglass to cut for different items. Stack cut between 2 pieces of wood with the pattern on the wood and slow your saw down. Cutting to fast causes the blade to heat up and the plexiglass will fuze back together as the blade passes if you are to fast.
  24. Ive had an Etsy store for 2 yrs now. The months before Christmas I have sold about 1 every 2 weeks. The rest of the year it averages 1 ever few months. You wont be able to quit your day job but its fun.
  25. To late for the clock contest but I added a clock to my gallery that I made for my son-in-law who is a Duke Blue Devil basketball fan.
