  1. There is a lot of stuff on Craig's list and Ebay that are way over priced, then add in shipping?? People don't do their homework and pay more than they should. I've seen carving tools sell for 2 dollars more then sold at Woodcraft and then they pay the shipping! Oh well you got a good deal, and bet you do find uses for it Jim B
  2. looks good to me! very well done both cutting and assembly. Next one will be even better! jim b
  3. Really nice, you could make one of your boss and say "I Saw my Boss" Just an idea, my boss was quite a novelty, didn't work much but guess didn't have to had me. Jim
  4. it's kind of like the blonde joke that has her neighbors dog barking all night keeping them awake. So she has had enough, gets up and goes out of the house. One hour later she comes back, gets into bed. Her husband says the dog is still barking? She said yes, but, I put him in our yard! See how he likes staying up all night! Jim
  5. Well I hope the best for you! We had those bad floods here in the US for the past 3 or 4 years in a row from the Dakota's down the Mississippi to Arkansas. Those are small floods compared to what your going through. Just imagine the people and wild life affected by the water? My heart goes out to those affected. Hope the people get help rebuilding their lives. Jim

  7. Hi my name is Jim I just retired in 2010 and have been doing quite a bit of woodcarving and not much on the scollsaw. Some projects I start might be over my head. I have been getting scrollsaw magazine for past 4 or 5 years and have done some of the projects. I have a Sears 20" scrollsaw and another older 16" that needs some work to get back running. I need to get busy doing some of the projects but kind of need a kick in the butt to do it. I want to make some portraits, but, haven't had much luck doing the patterns from photo's. I was going to try and watch the series on Inkscape and see if I can figure it out. I tried downloading twice but, keep getting error messages. so deleted it. Well that's about it for right now, will check out your web site and see what else is on here that may help me. Have a nice day, and it is COLD out tonight, (only 3 more months to spring!!!) Jim
