  1. A little more than just a name plaque. Very well done Todd.
  2. Beautiful golf plaque Denny.
  3. Not guilty !!! But I have to admit it was a sweat deal.
  4. No attachment Deena.
  5. That's totally awesome Helmut. You need to make more than one. This is one I see many people wanting. Well done my friend.
  6. Difinitely would make a statement. Well done Dan.
  7. Missing one cutter, screwdriver and case. Other than that the 45 came complete. Now looking for the additional bottoms and cutters and a #55. I see yours is in fabulous condition with wood case.
  8. I agree with Jim, so if you have a budget of $350.00 set that to the side, adding to it when you can. Now when a Hegner or another with same qualities comes available (new or used) you'll have a better buying budget to work with. At the end you'll be glad you had.
  9. I happened to be at the restore (Habitat for Humanity) enquiring about hand tools. The gentleman said he had none but remembered he had an old planer that was brought in. He took me to a back room and pointed to the 45. Well, my mouth dropped and I started to drool for I had seen photos and read of them but never one in real. I asked the gentleman how much and he replied $100.00. I said too much, and he said, well then what do you think it's worth. They usually go for around 40 to 50 bucks. I'll give you 40 bucks was my reply. The gentleman said no but since you look like one that will look after it I'll let you have it for 50. I thought for a moment trying not to show too much excitement. Okay, you got yourself a deal. So I left the store with $50.00 less in my pocket but happier than you know what. Now, did I pay too much?

  11. Got a winner Denny. Keep them going. They all look great.
  12. What's the sale price Ed? Ha, ha. A genius build. Well done.
  13. Well done Bobby. I have sawdust from exotic woods saved as a filer when needed. Surprising what one can do with scrap.
  14. Beautiful Kevin. Love the wood. Looks like cedar and walnut to me. Well done.
  15. Charles Dearing has great patterns and this is definitely one of them. Fantastic choice and cutting Paul.
  16. I would Jerry, but I wouldn't see it as often as I do in my work shop.
  17. We all have regrets Dave. But who knows, a 55 may still come your way at a good price
  18. You difinitely should bring it back to life Bobby. It's an awesome planer. Give it a chance to feel right in the hand and it'll do some amazing cuts for you. You'll be glad you did.
  19. Glad you had an opportunity of meeting a great and pationate scroller and wood worker Dick. It's always interesting meeting others who share the same passion, and more so from the Village. Good for you.
  20. Great videos on utube showing the 45 in action along with the 55 which can do more than the 45. I now have my eyes and heart longing for a 55.
  21. Beautiful crosses Anthony and well. Paduik is a beautiful wood but Purpleheart has to be one of my favourite woods
  22. Nicely done NAMES. Well, you said call me names. Well done Kevin. As usual.
  23. Very nicely cut Robert.
  24. Very well done Dick. If the mitres don't match fill with sawdust mixed with sawdust. Works for me.
  25. Excellent cutting of a fine patern Tim.
