    Awesome intarsia work Tony. Some of the best I've seen. What I like is how the grains and colors of the two woods flow and compliment one another. I also like the soft finish. Well done.

    Fabulous work of a very beautiful pattern Jim and nicely framed. I have to agree using Baltic Birch. The oak grain seems to take away from the scene a little. But then this is my own opinion.

    I find when drilling through such a hardwood as blood wood I'll apply a router bit lubricant, slow speed down letting the bit do the cutting and make sure my bit is clean and sharp.

    Wondering if you used a hardwood if that would of reduced the chance of burning. Very fine and beautiful work Bob.
