  2. I just noticed that the stand for the dewalt 788 is a 3 leg stand I have My on a lod porter Cable stand which is a 4 leg stand which makes moving it around easier, I have an extra 4 leg stand here in my road, but you are 2000 miles away. my set up for you wouldn't work.
  3. I took a 1X12 board just a little larger thae the leg span of the stand. put 4 castors on it and put strips around the board so the stand won't slide off . Lift the saw stand so the back willsit on the caster assembly , lift the front of the stand and you can move it any place. Hope this is clear.
  4. I have cut 1 inch Oak and Walnut but never aluminum.
  5. on simple jobs like you want just draw on the wood off of a template. for more completed jobs use the painters tape .

  11. iT MAY RUN GOOD BUT $600 FOR A 26 YEAR OLD SAW . NO WAY, AT 26 YEAR OLD i WOULDN'T BOTHER LOOKING AT IT. iT MAY BE A $25 BACK UP SAW.
  12. Down south you can probable get it done by your march sale. Here i have not. been on the saw since before Christmas and It don't look like we will make it before March. Show us pictures of the wheel and the Booth.

  15. that would be fine if you had a backing on it that way for the smaller the grand-kid is the easier it would be for them to assemble. and make the pieces larg for the little ones.

    it looks good to me. I have been cutting for many years and I also leave out on some of my pattern \ome are unnecessary cuts. when you are finished no one knows the difference.

  22. I have thought aboutcutting coinsbut never got around to it. I know that Olsons has a mettle cutting blade, which might be a big help.

  24. That is nice plywood. I have a 4' piece of walnut ( 3/4 X 12"0 walnut that has that swerrel grain, I am ssaveing it for someting special. I have had it for 2 years but hav not found a good project yet.
