  1. Sorry to hear this Zen. Do what you need to do for your health. We will be thinking of you.
  2. That should work well. A lot of my work is displayed outside, so I use a good quality exterior primer. I apply at least 2 coats.
  3. Thank you.. Love his patterns.
  4. Where???? I always need more patterns. hehehe
  5. P.O. is right. I had it on the coffee table and couldn't take a nap with him looking at me. I turned him sideways. lol. Zen Scroller, The razorback hog is the mascot for the University of Arkansas. Thank you again !!!
  6. Very good.. I like these very much.
  7. Thank you. I said the pig took awhile to cut & assemble, but it almost took that long for me to get the blasted picture loaded. I am a goob. A bank??? hmmmm good idea. I was thrilled when I saw Winfield Collections offered this pattern. Now I will downsize it for the small critters.
  8. Ok now lets try this for the 3rd time. Think it is time for bed. lol
  9. Good Grief. If I could work this computer as well as my saw... gezzzz
  10. This is my latest creation. I made it for my daughter. He is 18" tall and heavy. Each section was two pieces of plywood glued together. I bought the pattern from Winfield and painted it Arkansas red. I make little layered critters, but this was my first large one, and it took awhile, but I am very proud of it. Of course my typing and spelling isn't great. Razorback it should say. lol
  11. Very good job, and I agree the hardwood is beautiful. May just have to find the perfect piece of hardwood in my stash to recreate the one I also did in plywood. WONDERFUL
  12. I have a stack of red cedar in my hoard, and this is a great idea. Thanks !!!!
  13. If I didn't have grey hair now, I would after that one. Saint you are.
  14. So glad you asked this question. My son-in-law gave me a thick board of purple heart for my birthday. It is beautiful, and these suggestions will help me too.
  15. These are very interesting and beautiful cuts. Thank you
  16. Beautiful work, and trust me you will be hooked on boxes. Welcome !!!!
  17. Very good job, and I know the feeling taking on a big project for your saw. My grandson wanted an Arkansas razorback for over his bed. He got it of course, but the body & wood positions I had to get into would have made a funny video. lol
  18. I love Sue May's patterns. Very good work.
  19. Very good. You are more that a few steps ahead of me.
  20. Beautiful work, and it looks like we are on same page. I have started making a table & chairs for my Grand daughters' American dolls. Will post when completed.
  21. Very pretty. I have not attempted metal and very impressed with those that create amazing art.
  22. Very good Randy. I like the creative design of all. Beautiful wood. Deena
  23. Gorgeous sign. Good work !!!
  24. I agree with them all, but I use the cheap little paper masks. I cut a small hole and put in a straw. It works so far.
  25. I love fretwork, but with 4 grandkids I do a lot of painted work like the penguin in my profile. The wood I use depends on what my son-in-law gives me. Yes, I am lucky. His dad & he does cabinetry work, and the smaller stuff they can't use is perfect for my work. I got a good size bundle of birch plywood for Christmas. hehehe
