  7. Hi Kelly, well done, you are coming along in leaps and bounds, The pictures look good too.You seem to have the same attitude as most of us here on the forum. I CAN do it. Larry mentioned family in the forum, so we'll have to create a FAMILY TREE for you so you can have plenty of wood to cut . Keep at it Kelly and take care.
  8. PAY BACK time Kevin, and about time, considering all the freebies you hand out, no one deserves it more than you. The BIG MAN upstairs has been having a few words in someones ear, I think. You know the word FREE is music to my Scottish ears Kevin. . Rob Roy.
  9. Superb work Damian, very well cut. By the way, I'm Roy from Scotland so a big welcome to the forum. Hope you're enjoying it here. Rob Roy.
  10. Very, very nice work Chris. Enjoy your retirement and make sure you don't end up being busier than you were when you were working. . Take care. Rob Roy.
  11. Any chance we could have a picture Chris?????. It would be nice if we could see it. . Rob Roy.
  12. Hello Garcia, A BIG WELCOME to the family. I'm Roy from Scotland. I too have been a pro woodworker for around forty years, alas no longer due to ticker problems ,but still do smaller projects. I used to do Church furniture, Altar tables, organ fronts, baptismal fonts etc. Dick,(Hepnerguy) knows a lot more than he admits to, turns out lovely work. So you come on in and enjoy yourself. We could even talk shop. Oh!!! the Coffee shop, you'll notice you'll have to make breakfast sooner or later, or coffee if you can't cook. . Plenty lovely ladies here to help you out. Take care. Rob Roy.
  13. Great stuff Dan, a fine selection for the kids to play with, in fact I could play with them myself. And of course nice Christmas scenes for the Moms and Dads. Very Nice. They should disappear like snow off a wall. . Rob Roy.
  14. Hi Kelly, hubby made a fine job of mounting the drill press and a good idea of yours in the fist place. I take it it has castors on so you can move it around. A great joint effort. Sorry to hear you have an asthma problem. Watch out when you're using MDF, nasty dust!!! Both of you keep well and take care. Rob Roy.
  15. Beautiful, beautiful work John. I think your Father passed his talent to you as well as the saw. They shouldn't be stuck in a drawer though. Again John, lovely work. All the better for being hand done. Rob Roy.

  21. Hello Mort, A big WELCOME to the family, I'm Roy from Scotland, and NO I'm NOT a Whisky swilling Haggis muncher as some members of this family will infer, although I do have a LITTLE SIP now and again LOL. I do like those superb maps you do and the pyrography just sets them apart. Hope we see more of them,as I have never seen anything like that before. You must realise Mort, this scrolling has a health warning, as it is very addictive and there is no cure. So come on in and ENJOY the fun and serious stuff,(sometimes) . Take care and look after that lovely family you have. Rob Roy.
  22. Well, hello Kelly. A BIG SCOTTISH WELCOME to the Village family. I'm Roy from, well you know where now. Another lady member to keep us children in order????. Judging by your profile you are indeed a busy lady, not to mention a fun loving lady, after having watched your funny wee video. I didn't think anyone could get that excited by a food processor LOL. Mind you those things are way out of my league. I'll take my chances with scrollsaws etc. I like your chickens and Christmas trees and you need not worry one iota if you have a problem with anything as we have wonderful folks here who will give you no end of information on all things woodworking and scrolling,(no secrets here). Maybe you could teach us how to use a food processor, especially Larry, then we might get a decent breakfast . I must apologise for the lateness of my welcome, but when you are retired you get more to do at home than you ever did when you were working. So, Kelly come on in get scrollin' and most of all ENJOY. Take care. Rob Roy. P. S. Keep your eye on KEVIN. .
  23. Beautiful job Clayton. I like both, but the more I look, the more I lean towards the black. Not much help I'm afraid. LOL. Rob Roy.
  24. Amazing Kevin is amazing us AGAIN. Beautiful work, can't choose one I like them all. A bit like putting an Irishman in a shed full of shovels and asking him to take his PICK. Lovely job Kevin. Rob Roy.
  25. That's a nice one Clayton and beautifully cut. Haven't seen that one before. . Rob Roy.
