Thanks DW for input If I make them from plain pine and say £12 I can knock them down to £10 I can make loads from a plank and then do what Ron said about different colour woods and up it to £18 coming down to £16 don't want to go over the top and they think they win. Thanks all for help and positive feedback I would have probably said a fiver then I would had sold myself cheap. Roly
  19. Thanks Dick good effort there with the exception as Dan said mm should be cm or it's some tiny box, your still in inches and feet over there but I'm that age where a do both so not an issue with me. Nice drawing Dick I'll have a go when I find time. Cheers Roly

  21. Your right Ron possibilities are endless all kinds of bases with pen holders on the side or a name plate all in contrasting woods I can hardly contain myself. Thanks love the ideas Roly

Thanks for the offer Dick, I have copied the pics and I can reproduce it in a hard wood in my own sizes I see on pic 4 there is router cutter marks so that have been routed and the lid I will have to cut on the bandsaw from solid hardwood or use individual pieces glued together. I'll have a think on it and post it when I make one. Thanks Dick and God bless Roly.
