    It appears to me you have to use whatever method suits you best as all of us use different types of glues & tapes and some work better than others. Don't let it get you down try them all eventually you'll find the one for you. Roly

    These are great what are you treating them with to make them watertight. Roly

    When you use the re-positional spray you spray the pattern wait 30 seconds so it's nice and tacky and stick directly on the wood then sellotape on top. Roly

    First of all, throw that hardboard out get down the tip or see if your neighbors or family are throwing out old furniture the plywood backs on wardrobes are good to practice on then practice by drawing straight lines and curves and learn how to turn the wood around corners and most of all do not give up and keep the first ones so you can look back and see the difference as you progress. Keep on cutting and have fun. Roly
