Roly I used FD-XL 2/0 until my supply ran out then switched to the FD-Polar 2/0 which worked just as good. Love the FD blades. Thanks to everyone for your kind remarks. AL

  10. Mine also. No panel to remove. The adjustment screw is external. ( Newer model) I don't have to adjust it very often but when you do, Don't overdue it. Very small adjustments at a time. Just enough keep the arm up and no more. I think the manual says to go no more than 1/4 turn on the screw at a time but I have found that it takes less then that to get the results that I am looking for. Hope this helps.

Finished these the other day. One is for our grand daughter who loves gymnastics and the other is for our daughter in-law who became a nurse about 3 years ago. Patterns are by Sue Mey. Made with 1/8 BB with a 1/4" walnut backer. AL

  23. Welcome Bill, I am Al from Hillsboro TN. I have been scrolling for a little over 20 years and still have a whole lot to learn. Improved over the years and have taken on some very difficult projects compared to what I started out with. Some ended up in the trash and some were worth keeping and I sold several at craft shows and such. Hard to keep me away from the scroll saw. I am addicted and I think that when you really get in to it, you will see what I am talking about. Love taking a chunk of wood and making a piece of art out of it whether it be a small ornament or an intricate portrait. It's a great hobby. AL
  24. I dealt with them several years ago and they were great. Good to hear that nothing has changed.
