  2. good point the wood i guess would be going counter clockwise. with wood between me and blade plow into circle turn wood closes to my belly counter clockwise. i can go both ways but usually mess up less with this path?
  3. okay my mind works funny so here's a question and a joke. question when scrolling a circle which direction do you go. i always go clock wise seems if i get off line its in the waste area to the right. which leads to this, do scrollers below the equator go the other way around?

  5. very nice. i have had that pattern fir years. wanted to do 2 mirror copies for each side of the baptism at church. need to get it done thanks for sharing. i used to use aspen for white wood but cant get it around here any more. what did you use . is the dove basswood?

  11. working on some shop stools (bad back) and wanted to take a break so knocked out a little doll cradle i wanted to do.

  15. i am not only a wood hoarder i have people helping me. got a great friend that use to make some of the most beautiful mesquite rocking chairs and tables you ever did see. well hes cleaning out a old building and sent me this picture. this is waiting next time i head towards Corpus Christ . texas ebony
  16. ths past fall i spent 2 months at silver dollar city working with a friend on his chuck wagon. every 2 days they would bring wood up for us to burn all day for coals for our dutch ovens. every piece i picked up looked at and did bring home a bunch of oak hickory that had great grain patterns. for cutting and drying. i guess i made up for you burning logs i saved a bunch of logs meant for burning. "i am tom cook and I am a wood hoarder!"

  21. saw this on steve goode sight and thought i have to make this for the library ladies. the ladies at my town library are just the sweetest in the world. i read a lot of novels and they will call me when a writer i read has a new book so i get to read them first. they hook me up all the time so i wanted to give them a little something today. also did a little cutting on the pattern don did for me . coming soon

  23. i got a few these from free 4 all scroll saw patterns . was going through them tonight getting future work and saw the crappie. not sure rules of other sites and if this is a no no i am sorry and please delete post. just trying to give back to this wonderful informative site. love seeing what others are doing cause i get ideas and motivation from you guys and gals
  24. no wife works and comes visits some times in the shop but never wood worked. but we spend quality time elsewhere. i am so blessed by this lady

    i am always looking for patterns and grab them when i see them. honest answer i do not know where i got it and it was not marked.
