  1. The one Bruce shows would be good for accumulative time for scroll saw maintenance purposes, You could also use it to track time on a project, log the hours on the meter when you start and when finished, figure the difference. The only problem is it only is accumulating time when the saw is running, and there is other time spent. I think is one is going to track times you need both. I don't have either......
  2. You are on to it now. Fine looking. I have the gorilla one to do.

Really nice looking. What kind of wood is that?
  4. I put the puzzles together, laid then on the board to see where they fit. Held the puzzle in place as I traced around the puzzle. The board is the same thickness as the puzzles. I cut out the silhouette, than glued a 1/8" thick backer board on.
  5. Great work, Kevin. Do you ever slow down? Makes me tired just seeing all the work you put out.
  6. Very beautiful. I have not see one like it before.
  7. Those are nice. I like the rustic look of the boards. I can not figure out the brand though. Do you know?
  8. This is what I came up with to finish off the puzzles I did for my grandson. At least these will store the puzzles when he is done putting together. I did not put a finish on them because he like to color and paint. I think he would enjoy that as much as putting them together.
  9. That is a very nice!
  10. No doubt in my mind, Iggy, this will be a good weekend for you.
  11. Show a picture when do so I will know it I was right or not. If I was wrong, tell everyone it was someone else that suggested it.
  12. Nice cutting, Frank. I did mine in 1/2" material. tried several blades I would normally use and ended up doing most with a #3 Pegas Modified Geometry. Use same blade for the veining.
  13. Really nice. you do just as good in wood as in vinyl no doubt. In my opinion, and for what it is worth, I would paint the frame black. I think that would bring out the swans even more. Course if you do it and don't like it you have to make a new frame....
  14. Awesome piece and Dad will be very pleased and proud to hang it up. Really like the way you did the red, white and blue. Very nice touch.
  15. Great job. That will sell tickets for sure.
  16. Like your work, like your imagination...
  17. Is it possible to wire that "pot" in temporarily without modifying the hole to make certain that is the problem? if works I would enlarge the hole and go. If you have to replace it and can only find a 5/16 shaft later, washers would probable work to fasten it in, or it may fasten in a 3/8 hole anyway.
  18. Great to read. Hegners are work horses. It will last you as long as you scroll. I love mine. Took a while to get use to, now I will never part with it in my lifetime.
  19. To do List: Band Saw Boxes Those are very well done.
  20. Nice job and a wonderful thought. The weather man will love it I am sure.
  21. Been there Don that. Fact is I doubt if you can come up with a mistake I haven't made. So what, move on.
  22. If you look at it, make sure the VS works. That I think may be hard to replace, not sure. Course make sure it runs. The clamp Hotshot mentioned is this one I think: https://www.advmachinery.com/products/hegner-quickclamp I would not own a Hegner without that clamp. It makes it so much more user friendly. On the bottom clamp there are two sizes, one for #5 and smaller blades, and one for #7 and larger. Unfortunately they do not come marked, so I do not know which one I have on mine anymore, but it works fine. They should stamp them so a person would know.
  23. Another note. I think the new Seyco is not assembled like the Excalibur was when a person received it, is the Ex sat on top of the supplied stand. On the Seyco saw the stand is part of the chassis of the saw, which make it necessary to assemble when it arrives.
  24. Note the Steve Good assembly video is out. I have the link in another post, or go to Steve's site and watch. I think it will settle things down a little.
  25. Here is Steve Good's video of assembly of the ST-21. If you watch here using my link, you will have to start it over at the beginning. I started watching it and now I can't get it to start at the beginning, it starts where I left off. Or you to Youtube.com and search Steve Good
