  1. I got the cloud 9 feeling too! So glad that he turned out to be such a great guy and loved the cut. He made mention of it several times throughout the day. And thank you again for your wonderful patterns!
  2. Pattern turned out great! Thank you again! Sam absolutely loved it. I mentioned that I really liked the highwayman and he said that was his favorite project. He has tried to buy the truck several times but it is owned by a tattoo shop that uses it as a mobile tattoo parlor. He told me that if I could ever get a pattern of the truck itself he would love to have a cut of it. I told him if I ever got one amd he got the actual truck I'd trade him for a ride in it. He was a very down to earth honest and approachable guy. Made sure to try and have a connection with every visitor to the event. Even got up and walked outside to get a picture with a fan who was disabled and couldn't wait in line. Thank you again and I added a couple shots of g he trick if anyone wants to give one a go. With being all black is know it'd probably be pretty rough.
  3. Thank you everyone for the replies. Frank I'm pretty certain I had it in right. I keep a pair of cheaters by my saw nowadays just for the purpose of changing the smaller blades. (Can't always see the space where the teeth switch and don't have enough sensitivity in my fingers anymore to tell on the small ones) With what I've seen here I'm thinking it must have just been a random dull one that maybe didn't get stamped out exactly right. There's been some in the past but only a handful over the years. I do remember having one pack that literally would break within moments of starting to cut. They must not have been tempered correctly. The next pack was fine as frog hair. | Jim, I'm right there with you on that scenario as well. Thanks everyone!
  4. Has anyone else had a brand new blade simply flat out refuse to cut a straight line? I was about five blades deep into a package of Olsen #2 reverse tooth blades and the fifth one just would not cut straight. It kept running off to one side or the other. Swapped it out after scrapping the piece and no problems. Any thoughts?
  5. Fantastic work as always! I'll post the cut a soon as it's done. Many thanks again!
  6. After four months I finally have a saw again. Hopefully in time to get a pattern made by one of our fantastic makers here. In just under three weeks i have the chance to meet Sam Jones. (Flash Gordon and The highwayman.) I'd love to have a cut for him if anyone could knock one of these up onto a pattern I'd be truly appreciative.
  7. Well here's how they turned out. I must say I love them and cannot thank you all enough. #TDpainter you killed it on these! I used a metallic blue for the background on the mustang and it looks almost like a car's finish. The pics don't do em justice! Customers loved them too! Thanks again!!!!
  8. My Delta 40-694 20 inch has started making a banging/rattling noise. It is not constant and the intensity varies as well. Even on the same speed. I've had it apart half a dozen times looking for the issue but so far nothing! No worn spots, broken off pieces, etc. It doesn't seem to affect the cutting or accuracy but sometimes it honestly sounds like there's a bag of marbles bouncing around in there. Anyone have anything similar with theirs? I've seen a few threads with other brands but curious if anyone has problems with a Delta specifically.
  9. The "A" in Acres is right at a half inch tall
  10. Sorry Frank I always forget that stuff. It's residential, to go over her daughter's bedroom door. 20 inches wide 8 high. 1/2 in birch ply for the whole thing. Red mahogany stain on the background. Font for the letters is "Script MT Bold" from Word. As for the look pretties I just searched for a vine pattern and found one on a free site. All cut with #7 reverse tooth Olsen blade
  11. Customer said "I want this name so it fits over a doorway." No other directive, no suggested ideas of what she wanted just "Make it look nice. I know you will." I think I got it!
  12. #TDpainter Apparently you had the magic touch on this one. They love both patterns. I will be sure to post them as soo n as they are cut!! Thank you so much for your efforts!
  13. I'm trying to get another image of the car. Thank you for your efforts as always! I could not do this without all the wonderful people here on the forum!
  14. No worries Russell. Hope you liked it! Thank you for helping out there Tomanydogs. For some reason I stopped getting notifications about this post and I swear I checked it just a couple days ago and none of y'alls comments were here. Very odd.
  15. Thank you TDpainter. I'll see what the think. I think the golfer for sure will be a hit. I've spoken with them a couple times and they seem pretty picky about the car. I however truly appreciate your time and effort on these!
  16. Sorry posted ti by mistake and cant figure how to delete it.
  17. Great pattern as always Mehendra!!
  18. A customer requested this. She is from the area but now lives here. Being from around there yourself how do you think it looks?
  19. Some very thin cutting on this lettering. I would describe what and where this is but I think the picture speaks for itself LOL Half inch BB plywood. Worn Navy, Worn Gray and Provincial are the stain colors. Lettering cut with a #2 reverse tooth.
  20. Thank you Marg! I only do names that I have orders for or am planning to give as gifts. Most of my customers find me through Facebook. Courtys Scrollworks. (feel free to add me and swipe any designs you like)
  21. Thank you Frank! I used a #5 Olson reverse tooth on these. The height and length will vary depending on the length of the name and which letters. The font is called soulmate with the bold option on. I've found that using size 48 font also makes for a little fatter line to follow than the 72 font. Usually I will use "Paint" in windows, type in the name, crop and then print. I find using it as a Jpeg instead of a word document gives me a better feel for how big it will be when it prints out. For example, a short name like "Ted" would be printed using the 3.5X5 setting, while something longer like "Rebecca" would fit better in the 5X7 or even 8X10. That being said the only letter I've found do far that I do not care for in this font is the capital N so I swap it out for another font. (Can't remember which right now. )
  22. Every year I do a few name ornaments from 1/4 inch birch ply for 5 bucks. I stack cut them just to make sure of no breakage so customers get two for one. This year they blew up! I've done over 50 different names so far this year. Can't even fit them all in the picture!
  23. I have a client wanting to get a cut of each of these. I told them I wasn't sure if they would work or not but I thought I'd throw myself on the mercy of the pattern masters one more time to see if they could help out.

I've been looking for this story for YEARS!!! I thought it was an old Jerry Clower skit about Marcel Ledbetter! Thank you for posting! Just happened to run across it while searching for shotgun and trap shooting patterns
  25. Dominic Pace is an actor who plays "The GeKKo on the star wars show The Mandalorian. He is here for an autograph session at a local business. Here is the original image the pattern was made from
