  1. That one came out really great. I like it very much. I saw the link and took a copy of it. Thanks for the inspiration and the link
  2. Excellent work. I like it very much.
  3. Those are very nice, ALEX. I like them very much. Big compliment from me.
  4. Nice work you did there, Cliff. I wouldn't have noticed it when you hadn't mentioned it. If I were you I would leave it like this. I think I wouldn't use finish at all, because it should look natural. I like it like it is.
  5. Nice work Dave. I like it.
  6. You really did a nice job there. Looks great

Looks very nice. Took a copy of it. Thanks.
  8. I got my update last week. Installing was not a problem, alltough it took long. It looked very well and worked fine. But then I wanted to print something; the computer kept asking me how to safe the document, but didn't print anything. I tried it several times but it still didn't work. I went back to windows 7 and now everything works again as it should. Don't know yet what I will do in future.
  9. Very nice idea and looks very good. Are just the right patterns for this kind of work.
  10. looks very nice. great idea. Richard

  12. Nice idea Marg. Could be something I will cut in the future. Richard
  13. Nice work, looks good. I would only give them a natural finish, that's enough.
  14. Thanks for the responses. I made the drawings with Inkscape, I just don't know if you can work with it when I post it as a SVG-document. I guess I just have to try it. I'll post it in the right category. Gr. Richard
  15. Because I wanted to wish someone luck and love I decided to make my own Lucky Doll. I made a pattern for a 3D-doll, with a heart (for love) and a clover (for luck). This worked out so well, that I decided to draw more symbols. So I can make any combination I want. I can also make some with letters or numbers. What do you guys think? I added the design as a PDF-document. Gr. Richard Gelukspoppetje.pdf
  16. Hello Mark, there is a german website where you can order the blades: www.laubsaegen247.de These are the same blades as Mike used to sell. He gave me this adress. You can send an email to get some information or to order. I ordered there a few times and am pleased with the service. Good luck with it, Richard
  17. wonderfull job you did there.
  18. Hello, I made a portrait of my son. What do you guys think of it? I'm practicing making patterns and have the feeling that I'm getting better at it. The only thing I'm not completely satisfied with is that I made the hair with too much details. I think that could be less. I also post the original picture so you can see how it original looks
  19. Thank you for all the compliments. I did cost a lot of time, altough the cutting didn't take that long. Most of the time I spent figuring out how to build it together. The main problem is that there shouldn't be any disbalance, because the spindle should turn very easily. I got that, but my problem is that it has to turn by the warmth from the candles. And I believe that my wings are a little to heavy, because it only turns with a little help. Then, after a while, it stops. But I keep on trying.
  20. Here is a picture of the last thing I made in 2014. The Pattern is from Volker Arnold, but I changed a few things. At the moment it turns not yet as good as I wanted it to, but I think that the wings are a little to heavy. I'll change it in the next time, but I wanted to show it to you now. It was a lot of work, but I'm proud of it.
  21. I have a few goals for this year. The first is that I want try my luck on sawing coins. It is something I always wanted to try but never came to it. I now ordered magnifying glasses and I want to make a jig for it. And then I can start... The second goal is trying to make some money by making portraits. I believe there are many people who want to have a portrait from someone who passed away. I want to make an appointment with someone from a company that takes care of funerals. Maybe they can help me in to it. Just see what this year brings..
  22. Like DW said, the gorilla works better from a distance. But then it looks fine to me. The portrait from the Dalai Lama also looks very good. Nice work.
  23. Hello Scroll mouse, welcome to the forum. I am from the Netherlands, that makes us practically neighbours. I read you are searching for 3D animal patterns. You can get those for free on a dutch website. I just don't know if it's allowed to write the internetadress here. I'll send you a personal message. Richard.
  24. This was my first attempt to make a lightarch, an old traditional way of christmasdecoration in East-Germany. I made it a couple of years ago and we used it every year until I made a new one. Now I'm trying to sell it and am curious what it will bring me. But first I wanted to show it to you all.
  25. Wooden shoes, tulips and a windmill: as a dutchman I'm very pleased with the pattern. And with the piece you made of it. I bet the weddingcouple will be very pleased as well. Good job!!
