  7. This is a 6 layer cutting. I used a pencil torch to highlight the Indian and horse. If you have never tried a torch on your cuttings side. You can practice on the backside. Don't over do it. You just want to scorch to highlight. John Old Dust

  9. I regularly use a pencil butane torch to sing the fuzzes first and then sand. I also use the torch to sing the front of cutting to give additional character to the work. John Old Dust

  17. This has over 300 cuts in it. The frame is from weathered barn siding. John Old Dust
  18. This is a Steve Good pattern. I dark stained one for the backer. The hardest part was drilling pilot holes in the middle of the pattern. I had to use a Dremmel plunger. John Old Dust HINT: If you have to cut an oversized pattern that does not fit on your saw table try this. I had to put my blade in backwards and do some cutting that way. Itg works.

  21. This is a modified Steve Good Pattern. My wife is known as "Tiny". ( 4ft 7 in 72 lbs) I also changed the lettering since I do not like Stencil font. The backer is from a kitchen cabinet door A good source of free wood is your local kitchen cabinet remodel er. The old cabinets can make good desk name signs too. John Old Dust
