  1. At one time, if I am not mistaken, The Winfield Collection had this pattern but it is no longer in the catalog or on their website. Now it might just be my imagination that I saw it there. As Wayne stated there was a gentleman a few years back that made a very large copy of the document using maple and walnut lettering. Each letter was cut separate and I believe he was over 1 year completing the project. The only thing I could thank of would be to download a copy of it and select a suitable font and either put the lettering together for each word or separate the lettering and leave space between each word. In any event which ever is chosen and assembled as close as possible to the original document, you will have a one of a kind! Erv
  2. Oh it is so easy to tell that it is a Charles Dearing pattern and he holds nothing back with the detail and you have done and exceptionally great job in getting all of the detail cut!! Good job!! Erv
  3. I have used Deft gloss for a few years and love it! I live in the southwest with low humidity so the dry and cure time is 24hours or less. As far as the recoat time, if you can handle the item that was sprayed with out any difficulty, it is safe to recoat. I have tried 2 other brands of lacquer spray but keep coming back to Deft. If Home Depot stops selling it not sure what I will replace it with as WM and Lowes no longer carry it. Redwine
  4. I agree with the other comments that you have went from a hobby to a job! This will happen when you turn out an item that is perfect and can be used! This same thing happened to me back in 2005 when it went from a hobby to art & craft shows. Our business card is "Just My Hobby" The price Master Scroller quoted is in the ball park depending on amount of lettering and the wood used. Have fun and enjoy the benefits! Redwine
  5. I used to get my hardwoods from Sloans a few years back and I received a similar reply as to why they no longer handled hardwoods. I suspect they could no longer purchase at what they were willing to pay. As for maple ply, I just received a newer catalog from "Cherry Tree" ( part of "Wildwood") and 1/8" maple ply is listed. Hope this helps. Redwine
