  13. The last trivet i cut was in 3/4 red oak and i used a #5 FDUR ....Sam is right on with his advice, ....The back pressure does not have to be much, I have found that if i start the turn a little before i get to the 90 it helps....Like Roly said we all get better with practice.

Dave, I use a small 3" foam roller and put a thin layer of titebond over the entire surface and like Hawkeye , I have been known to use my 23ga. pin nailer to make sure it stays put .....I only use the pin nailer when the combined thickness is at least 1/2 so that the 3/8 pin does not go through the wood........Just my two cents, Steve.

  22. My EX 21 has blade clamp screws that entail more than one part, not sure if it is a swivel, but is not just a screw......Go to the Seyco website and look at the parts page for Excalibur saws , has some great pictures that should answer your question !.....Hope this helps !
