That is some very nice work Dick !....I remember the first time that I tried spiral blades,....Now for a lot of patterns it is all i use !...hang in there you will get the hang of it!

I am finally to the point that I can scroll a circle cleaner than I can drill it !.....But do not think of it as cheating to drill them in some patterns ! -

Like Paul , I am not a pattern designer, so i purchase quite a few patterns.......and also have cut quite a few free ones...The pattern library in the Village is a wonderful resource !

I use FD 2/0 and 3/0 spirals and #3 ultra reverse in 1/4 BB all the time ...No reason the #5 blades wouldn't work fine!

The wood thickness and type dictate some of my speed selections, but as a rule my saw is at 3/4 speed the most !......Just my two cents,

I hope it is just a glitch......The wooden teddy Bear charges more for shipping than mikes site....when they bought mike's they said they would keep it as it was....I guess we will see.
