Robert , I use 1/4 BB for most of my portraits and my go to spiral blades are 2/0 and 3/0 FD new spirals.......Good luck and let us see the work you do !
Excellent first attempt at a portrait !......First rule ..do not point out any mistakes, chances are we can't see them.....I assume this is Mr. Cagney .....Good work !
The video mentioned above by Melanie is a great teaching tool.......The way scroll saw blades are stamped out leaves them with a built in pull to one side...after cutting for a while you don't even think about it , you automaticly make the corrections needed to cut in a straight line.
Paul, I was wondering the same thing......I am thinking about calling Ray at Seyco to see if i could just plug the new Cyclone knockout pot into my system...if they will sell it seperate?
Don , I have the origanal system , does not have the cyclone part on the knockout pot......that is an interesting addition !....I have been using the old system for about a year and a half......I like it , but it is not as powerful as it should be....I will be interested in this newer version !
Jerry, My last order of FDUR #5 from Mikes workshop was 33.60 a gross...3.00 shipping.....just checked the website to mke sure and price has not changed...2.80 a dz when you buy 12dz.....Never used the Olson, but i love those FD....Just my two cents.
