I HAVE RESTARTED THE SIDES 4 TIMES WASTING WOOD AND IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZYER THAN I ALREADY AM BECAUSE I MAKE A MISTAKE AND MAKE A BAD CUT!!! i STOPPED THIS WEEK AND DECIDED TO MAKE A PULL OUT DRAWER TO HOLD MY SAW BLADES. I WILL POST A PICTURE OF IT WHEN IT IS FINISHED. IT IS COMING OUT GREAT! THE HARDEST PART WAS FINDING THE TUBES THAT I WANTED TO HOLD THE BLADES AS I DID NOT WANT TO PAY WHAT THE WOODSHOPS WANTED FOR THERE HOLDERS.. KEEP ON SCROLLING!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Well I am still slowly working on my project. The cold weather is holding me up a lot as it effects my hands a lot. I have restarted the large side pieces 4 times already because of darn mistakes! I sometimes think I may have bitten off more than I can do. Meanwhile I have been asked to join a City wide yard sale in late March with another Craftsman who does wonderful things with Shells. I have to make up my mind by next week. the fee is not but 25,00 if I do it I would be doing it for the fun and meeting people mostly. Keep on Scrolling!!!!!
  8. GRRRRRR I hate Mornings! I have to wake up to all my bones hurting but I guess it beats the alternative.

  11. I agree with a couple of the others I use the blue tape on top and if I am using that DARN! plywood then I use the blue tape on the bottom too to help with splintering and spray 77 adhesive to hold my patterns in place. KEEP ON SCROLLING!!

  17. Thats the very reason that i have not tried to sell any of my stuff. for one thing i do not feel that my woodwork is good enough. i am not the greatest at finishing wood such as staining and such. I am going to try a large community yard sale held sometimes in April that will be my first attempt. I am really doing it for the experance thats all. As you can see i can't spell worth a darn either. KEEP ON SCROLLING!!!!!!!!
  18. GRRRRRRRRRR-I HAVE SCRAPPED AND STARTED OVER THREE TIMES THE LARGE SIDES. I HATE WORKING WITH PLYWOOD . i AM TRYING TO USE OAK PLYWOOD . MABEE I SHOULD HAVE TRIED USING BIRCH INSTEAD? GATOR WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT?THE PROBLEM THAT I AM HAVING IS THE WOOD SPLINTERS WHEN I DRILL THE 5/16 HOLES FOR THE PEGS ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE WOOD ,WHICH IN THIS CASE IS GOING TO BE VISIBLE NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO
  19. THATS COOL A NEAT THING TO KNOW! THANKS

  21. I decided to Finally start back on my project to scroll saw a small working Ferris Wheel. Its from a Pattern that I ordered from Cherry Tree. I Saw one at a Show one time many years ago in Lebanon Tenn. And have wanted to try it for years. I put it off until I got the new saw so No More Excuses. It should take me about 2 or 3 months to do. Wish me luck because I sure need it. There are over 1200 cuts on each side wheel alone!! KEEP ON SCROLLING!!!!!!!!!!
