Yes,see what you mean...In these two pictures, the friends and coffee one is ok for the hanger but the Nannys one you have to find a place in center where screw won't come through,lots of extra measuring and sometimes,hanger has to go too low, so it's going to be half inch backers for this type.can judge that before hand..thanks for that tip...nd Happy Easter to you and Julie.

Great project Dave...good idea for 1/2 inch for backer. I use 3/8th inch screws on the hangers and sometimes I have to lower the hanger to get a place where it hits both backer and top.half inch is a good answer.
