  1. Stunning work Dave.
  2. Hi All, Here is a Sue Mey pattern. I decided to go with a natural edge on this occasion, maybe I will do the coat hanger in the future. A very nice and easy pattern to cut. I used Apple which I planed down to 6mm. Keep safe everyone All my best, Paul.
  3. Very cool.
  4. Hi Ray, There are kits at laser.com but they are not as nice looking as the picture you put up. https://www.laserscroll.com/browse-store/trains/
  5. Fantastic.
  6. A Legend. RIP John Prine.
  7. Yew is one of my favourite woods. Beautiful to look at and easy to cut or turn. A simple pattern.
  8. Hi Dragonkort, I don't know who they belong to. I just took screen shots of cat silhouette some time ago. All my best, Paul.
  9. Hi All, Needed a phone holder for the shed. Nice simple pattern on Oak. Best wishes to All, Paul.
  10. Hi Rusty, I'm not sure if it can engrave metal. I have not seen any vids showing that. I will do a test next time I'm in the shed. What metal would you use?
  11. Hi Brenda, I got it from a company called Banggood.com It did arrive with a couple of problems but it is not worth risking sending back to China. If you can get from a supplier in the UK that would be best, just in case you have problems. If you can join a forum and make posts I can't see why you would have a problem with the laser. The kit from banggood needs two cables plugged up and the laser arm fitted. Which is very simple. If you get one and need help, I can make a video of the steps you need to make to put it together.
  12. Hi Brenda, I got one a couple of weeks ago and I love it. This was my first test. Edit. I should mention my one is a Neje Master 7W
  13. Get well soon mate. All my best, Paul.
  14. People always look under and behind a fantastic piece of work. Now they will know that your piece is not only fantastic but also top quality.
  15. Everyone loves Simon & Garfunkel.
  16. Hi Russell, That is what I am after. Many thanks, Paul.
  17. Hi Grampa, Great to see your post. The Swan looks great but I want to keep the knot, I just need some foliage around the edge where there is a gap in the wood. Love your patterns. All the best, Paul.
  18. No takers?
  19. Amazing pattern.
  20. Hi all, I recently cut a pattern by Grampa which didn't turn out to plan due to a knotty moment. :-)) I have now cut out the offending knot and replaced it with another. I am hoping that one of you pattern guru's can help cover a blemish. Here is the story in two videos. If anyone can help, that would be great. Does it help to overlay on these pictures?
  21. Finished pattern.
  22. Hi Bob, Thank you for the comments mate. The camera I use is an old Sony Nex5 with a 18 - 55 lens. Tough little point and shoot camera that you can change lenses. I don't think they are available new anymore. Here is a e-Bay link to what I have. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/382972060069
  23. Crisp looking cut. Very nice.
  24. Looks great.
