As you are such an expert why don't you watch the vid and then tell me if I am doing anything wrong.
That way you get to see the project and I might learn something.

I would do it just as RJ explains in his post, but I would cut just outside of the circle line. I then go down to the line on the vertical sander. Great finish all the time.

Got this pattern from makeCNC.
This is my first cut of this pattern, the next one will be more refined and it will have a little bit more colour. :-))
Shop vac straight into the side. I only use the tube from where your hose plugs in, I don't use the bellows.
The blue articulating pipe for me is a must. So much easier to get that in to place than the stock tube.
