I don't; like making frames either. I try to find frames that will hold 1/4 inch thick portraits but sometimes that's hard to find. Walmart used to carry some but now they don't. I did find some at Michaels.
Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, now you should know better my friend. I know we all want to help our friends once in a while but sometimes you just have to say sorry, I just can't do that anymore. Hope your back to normal soon.
Thank's Dick, if it wasn't my brother I wouldn't of done it. I might get some orders out of it once he shows his friends. I told him to tell them it would cost $60.00. If they were a yankee fan, I would do it for $25.00. LOL. Only kidding.
What an awesome job you did on that. My Granddaughter loves cats and I would to do something like that but I don't think I have the patience or ability to it.
Finished this yesterday and gave it a few coats of spray poly. This is Steve Goods pattern. It's made out of Oak and Walnut and it's 8 inch in diameter. The backer board is painted red. It killed me to do this for my brother because I'm a Yankee fan. I suffered through it though.
Just finished this today. Wayne was able to add the 2018 on the bottom and also adjust it to fit my 1 3/4 insert. he did a great job. This is my Great Granddaughter.
That looks great. I use a backer most of the time and mostly black. You could use two colors on that one if you like. Red on top and black on scrolling lady or visa versa.
Your right Les. Some patterns I just don't know what to cut. I know the pieces aren't supposed to fall out. LOL. I think it needed some bridges but I didn't see where to put them. Live and learn.
Well I gave this pattern a try that Wayne made for me. I want to thank Wayne for doing this so quick for me. It's made out of 1/2 inch Oak with 1/4 inch backer board. I did have a little trouble with the logo part. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to cut the black lines or the white part of the logo. Well I cut the black lines and the pieces started falling out. I didn't want to start over so I continued to cut all the black lines around the logo. When I was done cutting everything out, I just glued the pieces back onto the backer board. I think it looks ok to me. What do you think. He's decided to hang it on his wall so I didn't have to make a stand for it.
